With the brand’s expansion into supermarkets, the challenge was to redefine its identity for the retail environment while preserving its distinctiveness. To reinforce the core message of making high-quality treats available to everyone at a fair price, the tagline ‘The People’s Pâtissier’ was created alongside a bold, headline-driven visual identity to support the strategy.

DirectionThe manifesto: Zumbo conjures up wickedly ingenious flavours for our famously colourful macarons, tarts, pastries, chocolates, and ice creams. No to the posh and stuck-up, hell yes to the exquisitely tasty, and abso-bloody-lutely to concocting beautifully crafted treats that everyone can enjoy. Zumbo bakes tirelessly for the people, as 'The People’s Pâtissier'. This manifesto was brought to life with quirky, impactful headlines for packaging (pack-vertising), posters, and digital, all set against a mosaic brand pattern in pink and cream.
